Teach Your Child a Second Language as Early as Possible
- Speak the other language around them often. The more they hear it, the more likely they will pick it up quicker.
- If they have a favorite hobby, animal, or toy, repeat the name of whatever it is in the second language until they memorize it.
- Sing lullabies and nursery rhymes in the new language to help them learn the sounds and intonation of the new language.
- Use fun games and activities to help them learn. Try finding bilingual books, cartoons, websites, or apps - the more interactive the learning process, the better!
